Freddie Matome Pilusa, also known as Da Philoso, a local rapper, wants to improve the community by generating employment through his street clothing business.
The rapper currently resides in Cosmo City Extension 6 and was born in Ga Sekgopo Phukubjeng and raised in Ga Molepo Polokwane. In recent years, Pilusa has seen his career take off as a brand owner, event planner, and fashionista. He currently has ownership of Overcomer Work of Wealth, SLMS, Duka Wear, and Duka Yak. Pilusa told the Chronicle that he wants to create jobs in the community and that his street shop is called RUFADORCU.

"I have big plans for this project," he stated. "Through this, I hope to create jobs in the community. This, I feel, will improve the community's quality of life. It will also instil confidence and belief in all residents who have given up on their ambitions. I'm not making much money selling clothes, but I'm surviving."
Pilusa believes that once employment is provided in the community, children will be brought off the streets and teen pregnancies will be averted.
"Black-owned businesses are well balanced with the hands of the community," he stated.
To continue his musical career, Pilusa launched his Overcomer EP last month.
