KHULA LETS GROW TOGETHER Spelling BEE 2024

KHULA LGT reaches out to five (5) Primary Schools from in and around Cosmo City hosting a
SPELLING BEE COMPETITION with 51 students participating on the 17th August 2024 (Saturday)
Multipurpose Centre in Cosmo City. Participants in this event were from Cosmo City Primary 1,
Meridian Primary School, Nooitgedacht Primary School, Tirisano-Mmogo Primary School and
Boipuso School.
Chairperson and Founder of KHULA LGT Miss Hlengiwe Ntamane “We are very proud of our young
future leaders for partaking in this edutainment that was aimed at empowering them, giving them a
platform to shine, sharpen and help improve literacy.
Promoting educational activities is one of the things we aim to do as KHULA LGT and lend a helping
hand to the teachers and parents in our community.”
The winner/champion was a Grade 6 student Omolemo Tladi from Meridian Primary School followed
by a grade 6 student Ayabonga Madonsela from Tirisano- Mmogo Primary School (1st runner up) and
a Grade 6 student Rorisang Kunoane from Meridian Primary School (2
nd runner up).
Various prizes were won, including Award Trophies, Award Certificates, Award Medals and Gift
Vouchers.
